Join the Battleship Missouri Memorial as we commemorate Veterans Day with our annual Veterans Day Sunset Ceremony, honoring the service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Held aboard the historic Battleship Missouri Memorial, this annual ceremony provides an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance and gratitude while reflecting on the values of duty, honor, and service that continue to shape our nation.

Honoring Generations of Service

As America commemorates its 250th birthday, we honor the veterans whose service and sacrifice have helped preserve the nation's founding ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for generations.

This Veterans Day, we recognize the men and women who answered the call to serve, past and present, whose courage, dedication, and commitment have strengthened our nation through times of challenge, change, and progress. Their sacrifices have helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today and have shaped the American story across two and a half centuries.

Standing on the threshold of America's next 250 years, we reaffirm our commitment to moving forward as one nation, strengthened by the legacy of those who served and inspired by the promise of what lies ahead.

Ceremony is free and open to the public, no ticket required to attend.

Transportation & Parking: The Battleship Missouri Memorial is located on an active U.S. Navy base and is accessible to the public via our complimentary shuttle from the Pearl Harbor National Memorial Visitor Center.

For the Veterans Day Sunset Ceremony on November 11, 2026, the final shuttle will depart the Battleship Missouri Memorial at 6:00 p.m. All vehicles must exit the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center parking lot by 6:30 p.m.

Parking fees at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center will be waived on Veterans Day.
