Living History Day
Living History Day at the Battleship Missouri celebrates two dates for the Mighty Mo – the anniversary of the USS Missouri’s launch into service as well as the anniversary of our public opening as an historic attraction in Pearl Harbor. One of our main focuses for this next Living History Day will be to recognize 80 years since the final year of WWII. Displays and exhibits from other historic sites, organizations and active military commands will add to the celebration and education. The public will learn about the important work that our organizations do to preserve history and to share our special stories.
