Flag Raising Service
You must provide your own flag; the flag must have 2 grommet holes to be flown; sizes 3’x 5’ or 4’x 6’ are preferred. Please allow us at least one week to fly and return your flag.
A $25 Flag Raising Fee will be charged, this is a tax-free payment that directly supports the ongoing restoration and preservation of Battleship Missouri. The flag raising service includes a personalized Certificate of Authenticity.
Flag raising onboard the Battleship Missouri can be done by local request, in person, or out-of-state request. Please follow the instructions to complete your request:
Local Request
- Complete the Flag Raising Service Form and drop it off along with the flag at the security shack located at the entrance of the Battleship Missouri Memorial (Drop off: Daily from 6:00 am-6:00 pm).
- Once the flag is flown and the certificate is ready, you will be notified to pick it up and pay the fee at the Ticketing Counter on the pier (Pick-up hours: daily from 8:00 am-3:30 pm).

In Person Request
- Complete the Flag Raising Service Form and email it to military@ussmissouri.org to schedule a time to come to the ship to raise the flag (Monday to Friday: 8:00 am-3:00 pm) . The process takes approximately 15 minutes and reservations are required. The fee will be collected on the day you raise the flag.

Out-of-State Request
Complete the Flag Raising Request Form and mail the flag, the request form, and a prepaid self-addressed return postage (Label…no stamps) for a Medium Flat Rate Box via USPS or FEDEX or UPS to:

Honolulu, HI 96818- Once the flag is raised and the certificate is completed, we will notify you with a receipt. Then return your flag and flag certificate in the box via USPS or FEDEX, or UPS using the return postage you provide.
