The story of the "world's most famous battleship" is brought to life for students between 4th and 12th grades with a free 30-minute traveling historic presentation. Presenters will share with students a virtual tour of the battleship while painting a captivating picture of the Mighty Mo’s unique history. Students will marvel at the sacrifice and resolve of the sailors who served aboard the ship.

Worldwide Video Teleconference

If you are unable to bring your class for a visit to the ship, you can connect with the Battleship Missouri Memorial through video teleconferencing. Bring your school on a virtual tour, and presentation about the history (with emphasis on WWII) of this great battleship, followed by questions and answers about the ship.

As part of our 80th Anniversary of the End of WWII Commemoration Events, the Battleship Missouri Memorial is hosting a speech contest for High School Students (Grades 9-11).

Explore the Mighty Mo’s history and role in WWII through interactive virtual field trips with guided tours, discussions, and Q&A for students and homeschool families.

Discover the Mighty Mo’s history with free 30-minute presentations or virtual tours for grades 4–12, exploring its legacy, WWII role, and stories of its Sailors.

The Third Grade In-School S.T.E.M. Activity engages students with a hands-on helicopter drop experiment, teaching data analysis and predictions, while connecting STEM learning to life aboard the Mighty Mo.

The Anchor School Program partners with local schools to provide unique learning experiences while promoting the USS Missouri's history.
