Chinese Tour Guide – Casual
The most famous U.S. Navy Battleship is inviting you to become a part of her history. Located in the hallowed waters of Pearl Harbor, the "Mighty Mo," as she's affectionately known, hosts a captivating and patriotic spirit on Battleship Row. Here you will develop a genuine respect for our military's honor, duty and sacrifice and share with our guests so they take home a piece of the history and legends of the "Mighty Mo".
Serve As a Tour Guide on the USS Missouri!!!
Primary beginning responsibilities: The goal of the position is to provide visitors an educational, insightful, and fun experience as they learn about the historical importance of the Battleship Missouri Memorial, a world class experience!
Primary duties:
1. Conduct assigned tours of the Battleship Missouri Memorial to visitors, including proper pre-tour briefing, staying within the time limit, following the tour route, accurately relaying the established script, and utilizing appropriate customer service skills to answer questions and provide additional information
2. Serve at an assigned set position to answer visitor questions and provide historical information, including taking initiative to interact with guests and answer questions
3. As scheduled, promptly attend morning and evening muster for daily briefing and assignment of duties
4. Follow established guidelines to conduct opening and closing procedures thoroughly and in a timely manner
5. Assist in emergency protocols, crowd control and public safety situations.
6. Lead special tours for the Special Events and Education departments, when assigned
7. Other tasks which relate to a positive guest experience that may be assigned by a Supervisor.
