The USS Missouri Salutes the Crew of USS Arizona shirt is part of the Pearl Harbor Museum Collection. The front of this t-shirt features the silhouette of USS Missouri and states that “USS Missouri Salutes the Crew of USS Arizona.” The back of the shirt features USS Arizona’s Last Deck Log lists accurately each of the 1,512 Arizona crew members who were part of the ship’s crew during the Attack on Pearl Harbor. Those shown in white were all those KIA (1,176), with the light blue depicting the 336 survivors after the Attack. The research that went into making up this design took two years, at which time it was approved by the National Park Service and is now a best selling shirt at Pearl Harbor. As we approach the 75th anniversary of the Surrender, the USS Missouri and USS Arizona provide a symbolic connection from the "day which will live in infamy" to the formal ending of World War II.
With the purchase of this historic t-shirt from the Pearl Harbor Museum Collection, you will receive a frameable and autographed 8x10 photo copy of USS Missouri that was taken in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945 during the signing of the Peace Treaty ending World War II.
