Reopening Operations

The Battleship Missouri Memorial is pleased to welcome back visitors to the Mighty Mo, while implementing Center for Disease Control (CDC) health guidelines for the safety of both employees and guests. We are open daily, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

From the moment you step onto the shuttle bus at the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center, we are committed to regular sanitization of highly touched areas, commonly used spaces, and other surfaces throughout the site. Additional sanitizing stations will also be made available around the ship for guests to use. Food options at the Battleship Missouri will be limited during this time.

All visitors will be required to wear facial coverings when you enter the indoor spaces and while riding the shuttle. We ask that all guests remember to stay a safe distance (at least 6 feet) from other visitors while exploring the ship. Masks are recommended while outdoors.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines

Due to Hawaii state COVID restrictions, static tours will be available upon reopening. The CEC is unavailable until further notice.

While some may not be able to visit us in person, we encourage you to connect with us from afar. Take a free virtual tour of America’s last battleship from the comfort of your home, download a custom Zoom background for your upcoming meeting or enjoy a free read aloud story with your keiki. All of these virtual options can be found here.

Throughout this pandemic we remain committed to our mission to “preserve the Battleship Missouri and share her story and place in history.” If you would like to support the USS Missouri Memorial Association, you may give a secure online donation by clicking here. Thank you for your support of our mission.

We hope to see you soon aboard the “Mighty Mo,” and we thank you again for your support.

The ship is closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

On December 7, the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center holds the 80th National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Commemoration; therefore, the visitor center is not open to the public until 11:00 am. The shuttle service to Battleship Missouri Memorial won’t be available until 11:00 am.

Safe Access Oahu program
The City and County of Honolulu has enacted its Safe Access Oahu program. Effective September 13, all employees and visitors to the Battleship Missouri Memorial, Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum and Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum must show proof of full vaccination or a lab generated negative COVID-19 test result taken within the previous 48 hours, as well as valid id to enter. Children under 12 years old are exempt.
