Veterans Day Virtual Ceremony

Due to COVID-19, the Battleship Missouri Memorial is unable to host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Instead, we will be presenting a Virtual Sunrise Ceremony to commemorate our veterans.

This year’s ceremony, aside from paying tribute to all veterans past and present, will pay special tribute to our WWII Veterans in honor of the 75th year since the end of WWII.

Congressman-elect Kai Kahele, who will represent Hawai‘i in Washington, D.C. in the U.S. House of Representatives, will deliver the ceremony’s keynote address virtually.

All are invited to take part in this virtual celebration honoring the brave the brave men and women who have fought and sacrificed for our liberty and freedom.  This year, on the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, we want all veterans to enjoy the recognition they deserve as safely as possible.  Let us remember all of those who have fought and continue to fight for our country and our freedom.

PLEASE JOIN US on November 11, at 6:45 AM (HST) for a LIVE sunrise Veterans day ceremony from the bow of the USS Missouri. Check on our Facebook page for a live feed.
